The game of chess has always been celebrated as the ultimate battle of intellect and strategy. Carrying this spirit forward, 64 Squares Chess Club, in association with Duliajan College, proudly presents the 2nd Chaturanga Tournament – Duliajan 2025.

Set to take place from 28th – 30th September 2025 at Duliajan College, this championship promises to be an exciting event for budding chess enthusiasts as well as seasoned players. With a total prize fund of ₹45,000, the tournament is designed to encourage participation across different age groups and categories.

Time Control : 40Min +30Sec

Total Number of Rounds : 9

Tournament Groups

  • Pawn Group: Under-7 & Under-9 (Open & Girls)

  • King Group:  ( Open )

This structure ensures fair competition and gives every participant an opportunity to showcase their skills.

🏅 Prize Structure

Pawn Group

  • Top 15 players will be awarded with trophies

  • Special prizes for Under-7 Boys category (8 prizes)

  • Special prizes for Girls category (6 prizes)(top 3 in each U-7 and U-9)

King Group

A total of ₹45,000 prize money will be distributed among the top 20 players:

  • 1st – ₹8,000 + 🏆

  • 2nd – ₹6,000 + 🏆

  • 3rd – ₹4,000 + 🏆

  • 4th – ₹3,000 + 🏅

  • 5th – ₹2,500 + 🏅

  • 6th – ₹2,000 + 🏅

  • 7th–10th – ₹1,500 each + 🏅

  • 11th–15th – ₹1,500 each + 🏅

  • 16th–20th – ₹1,200 each + 🏅

Additionally, category prizes include:

  • 5 trophies each for U-11, U-13, and U-15 (Boys )

  • 12 trophies for Female category (top 3 in each U-11. U-13, U-15 and best above 15 )
