To carry forward this legacy and encourage young talents, Shatranj Foundation is proud to announce the Inter School Chess Tournament 2025, a platform where the brightest student minds will compete and showcase their skills.

Event Highlights

📅 Date: 9th October 2025
📍 Venue: St. Francis D Assisi High School, Boragaon, Guwahati – 35

The tournament will witness participation from students across schools, divided into four categories:

  1. Upto Grade I

  2. Grade II to IV

  3. Grade V to VIII

  4. Grade IX to XII

This well-structured competition is designed to nurture young talents and promote the culture of chess in schools.

Schedule of Rounds

The tournament will be played over 6 rounds in a single day, ensuring both excitement and intensity:

  • Round 1: 09:30 AM

  • Round 2: 10:10 AM

  • Round 3: 10:55 AM

  • Round 4: 11:40 AM

  • Round 5: 12:30 PM

  • Round 6: 01:10 PM

⏳ Time Control: 15 minutes + 5 seconds increment per move from move one.

🕑 Reporting Time: 08:30 AM
🕑 Player’s Meeting: 09:00 AM
