📝 Registration Guidelines

  • Players must mention AICF ID, FIDE ID, phone number, and email ID in the registration form.

  • Registration must be completed on or before 29th October 2025 through the official Google Form.

  • Mandatory Registrations:

    • AICF (₹300/-)

    • AACA (₹150/-)

  • Online registration only. No registration will be done at the venue.

🧑‍🎓 Eligibility

  • Open to students of Classes III to XII.

  • A school can send unlimited participants.

  • Participants must come in school uniform, preferably with a teacher/coach.

  • Only Indian nationals are allowed. (PIO/OCI/foreign nationals not permitted).

  • AICF & AACA registration for 2025–26 is mandatory.

  • Attendance in Prize Distribution Ceremony is compulsory.

  • ₹1,200/- per participant (includes lunch & snacks for both days).

  • Deadline: 28th October 2025

  • Late Fee: ₹200/- (till 30th October 2025, 2:00 PM).

🕐 Tournament Format

  • System: FIDE Swiss League – 8 rounds (Rapid Rules).

  • Time Control: 25 minutes + 10 seconds increment from move no. 1.

  • Default Time: 10 minutes after round start.

  • Draws: Not allowed before 30 moves without arbiter consent.

⚖️ Tie-Break System

  1. Buchholz Cut-1

  3. Sonneborn-Berger

  4. Direct Encounter

  5. Greater number of wins (including forfeit)

  6. Number of wins with black pieces

(Cash prizes will not be shared.)

🚫 Rules & Restrictions

  • Mobile phones, electronic gadgets, and watches of all kinds are strictly banned in playing hall.

  • Violation = immediate loss of game.

  • No player may leave before prize ceremony without arbiter’s permission.

  • Misconduct = disqualification or suspension.

⚖️ Protest & Appeals

  • Protest Fee: ₹1,000/- (refundable if upheld).

  • Appeals must be made within 1 hour of the incident.

  • A 5-member Appeals Committee will be formed before the event.
